A response to "The Shi'ite Offensive", their article can be found here.
The proponents referenced a tradition reported by Abu Nu`aym al-Asbahani in Hilyat al‑Awliya. Nonetheless, the route of transmission for this report is defective, as Juwaibir bin Sa`id is deemed an abandoned transmitter, rendering this report unsuitable for use as evidence. In Mizan al-`I`tidal, al-Dhahabi documents the assessments of hadith authorities who have criticised Juwaibir bin Sa`id:

Translation: "ibn Ma`in said: He is nothing [...] al-Nasa`i, al-Daraqutni and others have said: He is matruk al-hadith."
End.

If a Rafidhi accuses Umar then they are Nasibi since they are accusing Ali of it. Any accusation to Umar (as) is an accusation to Ali (as).

If you know Arabic, see what Shia scholars said about the status of anyone who was a student of Ahlulbayt and how it is impermissible to accuse the students of Ahlulbayt. If this is the status of the students of Ahlulbayt one could only imagine that of the students of the master of Ahlulbayt:
